Young parties to be barred from elections

According to Ukrainian People's Deputy Boris Filatov, a decision of the Rada coalition council has been made regarding the exclusion of young parties from the elections. This includes the "Ukrop" party, of which the MP is a member.

Right now, at the meeting of the committee on justice, a new law on local elections is being discussed.

By decision of the Rada coalition council, it has been decided not to allow parties registered a year ago and renamed six months ago to participate in the elections.

In effect, this provision is directed against all political entities that emerged after Maidan, primarily against the political party "Ukrop".
