Irpin mayor shields bodyguards from mobilisation

A scandal has erupted in Irpin over Vitaliy and Hennadiy Tymbarovych, known as possible leaders of the criminal group "Twins". This information was disseminated by StopKor.

Officially, they are listed as fitters at the municipal enterprise "Teploenergospostavka", but in fact, according to journalists, they serve as the personal security for Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn. Moreover, their employment may be linked to "shielding" from mobilisation.

The Tymbarovych brothers have been repeatedly spotted at the city hall and near the mayor. Their security structure "ChUR" also features in criminal cases involving illegal actions and kidnappings. Despite the mayor's statements about awarding the brothers for defending the city, journalists doubt the reality of their work at the municipal enterprise.
