Massive strike on Kyiv: destruction and casualties

This morning, Russian forces launched a massive shelling of Kyiv, targeting the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Four people were killed in the attack, and three others were injured. One person burned to death in their car.

The Lukianivska metro station, an administrative building, a business centre, a shop, and a main water pipeline were damaged. A fire destroyed three cars and damaged ten others. Flames broke out in one of the buildings, but firefighters quickly contained the blaze.

The attack caused extensive destruction in the centre of the capital and left parts of the city without water. Emergency services are still working at the scene.
