Likarchuk sues the Cabinet of Ministers

Former Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Konstantin Likarchuk has filed a lawsuit against the Cabinet of Ministers seeking reinstatement to his position and recovery of wages, which he intends to direct to charity.

“Yesterday, I filed a claim with the Kyiv City District Administrative Court against the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Tax Service, requesting that the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution and the State Tax Service’s order, which dismissed me, be recognised as unlawful and annulled, that I be reinstated to my position, and that average earnings (in favour of a charitable organisation) be recovered for the period of forced absence. Now we will sort out in legal terms what happened at the State Tax Service in early September. I am convinced that my dismissal was unlawful and, after analysing all the circumstances of the case, the court will reach a fair decision”, said Konstantin Likarchuk.
