Klitschko officially refutes Firtash's accusations

The uproar over oligarch Dmitry Firtash's statement in Vienna regarding his agreements with Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has not subsided for several weeks.

Scandalous journalist Mustafa Nayem decided to clarify the situation and sent Klitschko a request asking him to explain Firtash's statement.

In response, Nayem received an official letter in which Vitali Klitschko refutes Firtash's words. The Mayor of Kyiv stated that he has never signed any agreements with oligarchs; furthermore, neither Firtash nor any structures affiliated with him have funded the "Udar" party, and Klitschko currently has no obligations towards him.

Effectively, this means that Dmitry Firtash lied under oath in court, so the appeal has every chance of securing the businessman's extradition to the US, where he will again face trial, this time in a court less lenient than the one in Vienna.
