Satellite images show the scale of the devastating fires in California, which have engulfed residential areas where the homes of world-famous celebrities are located.
- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West resorted to the services of a private fire brigade to protect their residence.
- The natural disaster destroyed the homes of several well-known actors. Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Will Smith and Mandy Moore were forced to leave their homes.
- Hundreds of houses burned down in the western districts of Los Angeles, while the fire destroyed around 1,000 buildings in the east.
- There are reports of fatalities, and approximately 150,000 people have been ordered to evacuate.
A number of insurance companies removed fires from the list of covered events last year. This means that many stars and ordinary people will have to restore their property at their own expense.
