This is a non-surgical injection technique in which special preparations are injected into the scalp to stop hair loss and stimulate active growth.

Apparently, frequent dyeing and styling have taken their toll, and the artist is losing her hair, meaning she is effectively going bald.

Many public figures face this problem, forcing them to wear wigs, get hair extensions, or use special strands attached to their own hair to create the illusion of a full head of hair.

The singer's fondness for headwear is further evidence of this.
