Lukashenko narrowly escaped death

Not long ago, media reports emerged claiming that in a tragic road accident, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko died.

A collision involving Lukashenko's motorcade did indeed occur. However, the President himself was fortunately not there.

On that day, Alexander Lukashenko was visiting his mother's grave in his hometown of Aleksandriya, having arrived by car with his motorcade. However, on the way back, he decided not to waste time and flew away by helicopter.

The motorcade, meanwhile, set off towards Minsk. On the highway, unexpectedly, a BMW, driven by a 23-year-old woman, swerved into the oncoming lane, resulting in a collision with a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, which was part of the government motorcade.
