Renowned director Andrei Konchalovsky has been urgently hospitalised at the Central Clinical Hospital in the Russian capital. Doctors made this decision after examining the director.

Outpatient treatment was initially planned; however, after assessing Konchalovsky’s actual health condition, the medical team changed its decision.

According to preliminary information, vision problems have been added to the director’s list of other ailments.

A year ago, Andrei Konchalovsky underwent joint surgery; now he faces a new procedure, this time on his eyes.

The director’s wife, Yulia Konchalovskaya, is torn between her sick husband and her daughter, who is still undergoing rehabilitation after a brain injury.
