Former Sumy tax official faces asset forfeiture

The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) has initiated proceedings to confiscate the assets of former tax official Artem Snezhko. He previously served as acting head of the State Tax Service Directorate in Sumy Oblast, as well as heading the department for combating the laundering of criminal proceeds.

List of seized assets

Among the assets that may be confiscated are:

• A Lexus RX 350 (2022 model year);

• A non-residential premises of 18.4 sq m;

• Three apartments with total areas of 59, 55.9 and 44 sq m.

The total value of the seized assets is UAH 7.03 million.

At present, the court has placed a freeze on the assets as security for the claim. In the near future, anti-corruption authorities intend to seek their confiscation in favour of the state.
