Former deputy Komarnitsky flees abroad

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) continues to share information on corrupt officials with independent media. 

According to sources in law enforcement agencies cited by “Ukrainska Pravda”, former Kyiv City Council deputy Dmytro Komarnitsky was on Ukrainian territory at the time of the NABU and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) operation codenamed “Clean City”. However, after he was placed on the wanted list, Komarnitsky managed to flee abroad.

The mystery of the speed

Investigative journalist Mykhailo Tkach confirmed that Komarnitsky is currently abroad, presumably in Austria. Questions arise: how did Komarnitsky manage to leave the country so quickly, and who provided him with the opportunity to cross the border?

Unofficially, Komarnitsky has settled in Austria, a country that Tkach visits quite often.
