Deputy Lanyo fled to Hungary

Following yesterday's criminal clashes between the Right Sector and so-called athletes from the group of Ukrainian People's Deputy Mykhailo Lanyo, battalion fighters remain surrounded, with leader Dmytro Yarosh travelling to negotiate. The second person responsible for the tragedy, People's Deputy Lanyo, reportedly hastily left the country and is now in Hungary.

It appears the elected representative is not keen on the prospect of law enforcement agencies investigating his activities.

As a reminder, a shootout involving grenade launchers occurred yesterday between Right Sector fighters, the deputy's security detail, and police officers. At least three people were killed, and nine others were injured.
