In Denmark, a proposal was made to purchase California from the US for one trillion dollars, presenting this idea in response to Donald Trump's previous statements about a possible purchase of Greenland.

This news caused a stir in society, and the corresponding petition has already gathered around 200,000 signatures. The initiators suggest paying attention to California's mild climate, which could perfectly complement the Kingdom of Denmark.

In addition, they are proposing to rename the famous Disneyland to “Hans Christian Andersenland”, paying tribute to the great Danish storyteller.
