DNR and LNR prepare another referendum

For several days, information has been coming from various sources that a so-called "Crimean scenario" is being prepared in Donbas.

The leaders of the unrecognised republics are preparing another referendum, this time on joining the Russian Federation as a separate subject of the RF.

The referendum is planned to be held one month after the local "authority" elections, which are scheduled for 18 October.

Ballots have already been printed. The referendum will be conducted by the same election commissions that are currently being formed for the local elections. 

In addition, sources claim that blank Russian Federation passports are being brought into the LNR and DNR.

However, it is highly doubtful that Russia can afford another subsidy-dependent region, but who is thinking about that.
