Shannen Doherty's illness progresses

It was recently reported that "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Shannen Doherty is battling breast cancer. The actress is expected to undergo chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and a mastectomy to remove the breast affected by the tumour in the near future.

Shannen blames producers for interfering with her ability to get tested on time and detect the disease at an early stage.

According to the actress, the illness was discovered in a very advanced state and is progressing. The cancer has already spread to the lymphatic system and beyond its boundaries.

The actress is frightened by the uncertainty. She is not sure that doctors will be able to defeat the disease. She is not afraid of having her breast removed; however, she is worried about her future, what she will be like, and whether she will have a future at all.

Shannen is supported by friends and family, but this does not help the star much.
