Blockades – who is bigger and stupider

It seems the governments of Ukraine and Russia have decided to compete over who can implement more foolish blockades.

Thus, recently, Ukrainian politicians added the WebMoney payment system to the sanctions list, thereby striking at four million Ukrainian users, whose wallets still hold tens of millions of dollars, even by the most modest estimates.

In addition, the sanctions affected certain Russian companies that have long since ceased to operate directly in the Ukrainian market. They have been replaced by other enterprises that were not subject to sanctions. However, the same Russian owners stand behind these firms.

The Russian government is also striking at ordinary people through blockades. Following the Telegram network, politicians decided to restrict access to Booking, a platform used by people to book hotels at reasonable prices.

At the same time, no oligarch has actually suffered from the blockades and sanctions.
