Azarov claims Moseychuk's arrest is arbitrary

Fugitive former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, who is currently hiding from Ukrainian justice in Russia, unexpectedly defended the arrested MP from the Radical Party, Ihor Moseychuk, in a post on his online page today.

According to Azarov, everything that happened yesterday in the Verkhovna Rada is arbitrary.

“The Kyiv regime has shown the world another show of how it fights corruption. Of course, this show has nothing to do with fighting corruption. Moseychuk and his like are merely minor pawns in the odious regime of Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk and company, steeped in bribes and abuses. By ordering the arrest of Moseychuk, Poroshenko primarily aimed to intimidate so-called Verkhovna Rada MPs and strengthen his thoroughly rotten regime. New arrests have already been announced……

 …today's Ukraine is a model of arbitrariness, and this incident in the Rada only confirms it…”, according to the former Prime Minister, the procedure was not followed, and everything that happened is illegal.

Well, such an outburst from the former authorities is very telling. Presumably, we are on the right path; all that remains is to imprison everyone directly connected to the Yanukovych regime in the same way.
