Alexander Usyk defeats Tyson Fury again

WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO world champion Alexander Usyk retained his titles in a rematch against Britain's Tyson Fury. The fight went the distance for all 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision in favour of the Ukrainian. The judges' scores were 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.

In the first round, the opponents cautiously sized each other up. Usyk attempted to attack, but Fury successfully defended against his efforts. In the second round, the Briton landed a heavy blow to Usyk's head, but Alexander managed to recover quickly and continued the contest.

The third round proved difficult for the Ukrainian: Fury landed another unpleasant strike, followed by an exchange of blows. However, in the next three-minute period, Usyk delivered a series of successful attacks, including a precise left to the head and a body shot.

By the sixth round, Usyk increased the pressure, landing several precise combination punches to his opponent's head. After the eighth round, the punch statistics indicated the Ukrainian's advantage: 60 accurate power punches compared to Fury's 49.

In the ninth round, the Briton showed visible signs of fatigue, allowing Usyk to land three precise head shots and one to the body. The fight remained tense in the final rounds: in the 11th round, the opponents exchanged powerful blows, while in the final three-minute period, Usyk delivered a series of high-quality attacks, ending the fight under the sound of the final bell.

The judges unanimously awarded the victory to Alexander Usyk, who after the fight dedicated his win to his mother and all mothers of Ukraine.
