Ukraine is not among Washington's priorities
President Volodymyr Zelensky officially confirmed the existence of a shortage of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems. According to him, Ukraine is not among the priority directions for the US regarding the supply of these air defence assets.
Kyiv's demands regarding ammunition ratio
The leader emphasised that to ensure a safe winter period under protection from ballistic strikes, European countries have sufficient own stocks. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side requests that interceptors be provided in a one-to-one ratio, instead of the usual standard of two to one missile.
Commitments from European partners
Zelensky added that certain commitments regarding the supply of necessary systems have already been received from European partners, although he did not disclose the details of these agreements.
