On 20 October, the head of the Sviatohirsk administration, Volodymyr Rybalkin, released a video address in which he detailed the current state of affairs in the hromada. He stressed that the enemy is not reducing the intensity of its attacks, making the issue of population evacuation extremely acute.
According to the official, the main means of attack continue to be aviation, unmanned systems, barrel artillery, and multiple launch rocket systems. The Mayakivske starostat suffers the most from enemy actions.
«Тому безпекова ситуація, вона, на жаль, не покращилась. Тому ми кажемо, що евакуація на сьогоднішній день це найголовніше питання, тому що життя людини – це найцінніший скарб. Це моя думка. Я думаю, що і ви з цим згодні» (Therefore, the security situation, unfortunately, has not improved. That is why we say that evacuation is the most important issue today, because human life is the most precious treasure. This is my opinion. I think you agree with this), – Volodymyr Rybalkin emphasised.
Official data indicates that since 1 October, 25 residents have left the hromada territory, including five children. The head of the hromada consistently emphasises that preserving human lives is the top priority for all responsible services.
Volodymyr Rybalkin drew attention to the fact that the winter period will create additional difficulties for those who have decided to stay, further confirming the expediency of evacuation.
Regarding material support, humanitarian aid has not been distributed in October yet, but food packages are planned for all remaining residents. «Не буду говорити, які дати, але сподіваюсь, безпекова ситуація дасть можливість у повному обсязі забезпечити всіх мешканців, які зараз залишаються, гуманітарними наборами» (I will not say what dates, but I hope the security situation will allow us to fully provide all residents who are currently remaining with humanitarian packages), – the head of the administration noted.

The acceptance of documents for winter support is also ongoing. «Ми далі працюємо – до 30 жовтня включно – тому на сьогоднішній день відділом соціального захисту населення вже прийнято 295 заяв. Всі вони опрацьовані, всі вони передані на Пенсійний фонд. Тому робота в цьому напрямку триває» (We continue to work – until 30 October inclusive – so as of today, the department of social protection of the population has already accepted 295 applications. All of them have been processed, all of them have been transferred to the Pension Fund. Therefore, work in this direction continues), – Volodymyr Rybalkin reported.

He also reminded that current contacts for receiving consultations are published on the administration's official page.
Concluding his address, the official wished residents wisdom and strength: «Слава Україні! Працюємо далі» (Glory to Ukraine! We continue to work).
