Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the return of police patrols to schools. According to him, this decision is set to take effect from Monday.

Assessment of the situation

During a special meeting dedicated to the issue of violence in educational institutions, the head of government expressed his views on the causes of such incidents. Tusk is convinced that these cases are not part of any coordinated plan aimed at intimidating society.

«Це дуже похмура мода на насильство» ("This is a very gloomy trend of violence"), the prime minister stated.

In his observations, interest in violence is growing not only in Poland but also in other countries. Tusk believes that young people often act spontaneously, influenced by the content they view on the internet.

Balance between security and freedoms

At the same time, the head of the Polish government assured that the authorities do not intend to turn schools into objects of police control. The government also has no plans to introduce radical censorship on the internet.

Tusk appealed to parents, urging them to pay closer attention to the content their children consume and what specifically they are interested in on the internet.
