US President Donald Trump publicly declared his “full and unconditional support” for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These remarks came on the eve of the nationwide elections scheduled for 27 October.

The relevant post appeared on the social media platform Truth Social.

Warning regarding a change of power in Israel

In addition to supporting the incumbent head of government, the American leader issued a serious warning. According to him, if a different person comes to power in Israel, the US will find itself in a situation where it will have to confront Iran on its own.

“If Israel has a different leader, if it is someone other than Bibi, America will have to do this job alone, and I do not intend to do that,” Trump emphasised.

Assessment of the situation with Iran

In his message, the US President called Benjamin Netanyahu a “great warrior prime minister”. He also claimed that Iran has already suffered systematic destruction in both military and financial terms.

Trump added that if Tehran does not change its course, “we will soon finish the job”.
