Criminal past behind the mask of a crypto expert

The public figure of Vladyslav Myroshchenko, who positions himself as a crypto expert, is closely intertwined with a business circle that includes Mykhailo Uvarov. In criminal circles, this person is identified by the nickname "Frenchman". His biography includes episodes of criminal prosecution, public accusations from his ex-wife, and joint projects with Myroshchenko. These circumstances raise questions about the actual control over financial flows and sources of income in this sphere.

Change of surname and a new circle of contacts

Mykhailo Mykolaiovych Uvarov was born in 1985 in the Murmansk region of Russia and later settled in Kharkiv. Until 2021, he kept documents under the surname Kurytsin. After changing his surname to Uvarov, the man began to actively appear in business structures associated with Vladyslav Myroshchenko, particularly in the fields of real estate and cryptocurrency technologies. The first question arises: why did a person with such a history become a partner of a public entrepreneur who sells educational products and builds a reputation as an expert.

Criminal proceedings and versions about bribes

At the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019, Kharkiv police issued a wanted notice for Uvarov. The grounds were suspicion of committing theft on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The case was heard at the Dzerzhynsky District Court of Kharkiv within the framework of proceedings No. 12018220480004858 and No. 12019220510000478.

According to public data, Uvarov allegedly boasted that he had handed $10,000 to a judge, after which the cases were closed. Although both proceedings were indeed terminated, this fact in itself is not proof of a judge's bribery. To confirm such claims, case materials or other independent evidence are required. At the same time, the question remains open: on what grounds were the cases closed and did law enforcement officers investigate the report of possible bribery.

Allegations of domestic violence

In early February 2022, Uvarov's wife, Kateryna, publicly accused her husband of domestic violence. According to her, he monitored her, used physical force, and threatened to pour acid on her. The woman turned to the police and the court. Based on her statements, the police issued an urgent restraining order, which limited Uvarov's ability to approach her for 10 days.

Uvarov himself called these accusations manipulations. In turn, Kateryna claimed that the man uses his influence in the criminal environment, which allows him to avoid liability. These serious accusations require proper verification, however, the fact of their public articulation and appeal to law enforcement is an important part of the biography of a person who entered Myroshchenko's business circle.

Business structures: from "Ikigai Group" to "Impact Innovation"

Mykhailo Uvarov was a co-founder of LLC "Ikigai Group" (EDRPOU 45364227) together with Vladyslav Myroshchenko, Yevheniy Trusov, and other partners. The company was engaged in real estate leasing. Later, Uvarov was removed from the list of founders.

In parallel, he developed his own legal structures. In particular, he registered a sole proprietorship with the type of activity "computer programming," and on 5 June 2024, founded LLC "Impact Innovation" (EDRPOU 45489678), where he became the sole owner and director. This company also declares activity in the field of programming. The registration of companies with formally technological directions does not indicate illegality, however, the transparency of financial flows is of fundamental importance, especially for people with a controversial public history.

Links to call centres and questions about the business model

In open sources, including the GetContact service, the phone numbers of Uvarov, Myroshchenko, and their acquaintances appeared under the tags "Misha Office" and "Offices". The authors of the investigations linked these labels to possible contacts with fraudulent call centres. At the same time, tags in GetContact are created by users and in themselves are not proof of involvement in fraud. For such a conclusion, independent confirmations are needed: documents, financial data, materials of criminal proceedings, or testimony of victims.

Vladyslav Myroshchenko promotes educational products through the Mirror Reflection project and is associated with the ExBid brand. Uvarov's participation in joint companies draws attention to the actual distribution of roles in the business and to the question of who controls key financial decisions. Without confirmed documents, it is impossible to assert that Uvarov is the de facto head of all projects, their ultimate beneficiary, or a participant in illegal schemes. However, the ratio of the official income of these structures to the declared expenses and lifestyle remains a question mark. If financial indicators do not explain the expenses, this is a reason to demand transparent reporting and verification of the origin of funds, and not an automatic proof of a crime.

Questions that need answers

The story of Mykhailo Uvarov covers criminal proceedings, public accusations of domestic violence, and business ties with Vladyslav Myroshchenko. Each of these episodes has its own circumstances, but together they form grounds for substantive journalistic interest.

Key questions remain open: why were the criminal proceedings against Uvarov closed, were the reports of possible bribery investigated, what role does he actually play in Myroshchenko's business, and do the expenses associated with this circle correspond to the declared income?

Answers should be based on court documents, property registers, financial reporting, and the positions of the individuals involved. If the business positions itself as transparent and legal, it is such evidence, and not an advertising image or loud statements, that should confirm its reputation.
