Possible personnel changes in KCMVA leadership

Former head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk may soon lead the Kyiv City Military Administration. This possibility was reported by MP Oleksiy Kucherenko from the “Batkivshchyna” party.

Context of meeting with the president

The politician made this assumption, citing a recent meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Maliuk. During the conversation, the parties discussed the current situation in the capital. Meanwhile, according to Kucherenko, the head of state also held meetings with other former officials at that time.

Position of the Mayor of Kyiv

Earlier, Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko stated that the central authorities are preparing a replacement for the head of the city’s military administration.
