Moscow's accusations regarding oil processing facilities

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak publicly stated that Ukraine had carried out strikes on oil refineries. According to him, the targeted facilities were located in the Saratov and Ryazan regions.

Meanwhile, there are no video recordings or other evidence of these facilities being hit in open sources. Official Kyiv has also not confirmed carrying out such operations. Local authorities in the mentioned regions had previously reported drone attacks, but did not release specific data on refinery damage.

Context of international calls

These statements emerged against the backdrop of previous appeals by US President Donald Trump, who called on Ukraine to stop strikes on Russian oil processing capacities. It is worth noting that since Friday, the Ukrainian side has not officially reported similar attacks.

Restrictions on satellite communication for the AFU

Ukrainian sources report that the United States restricted the Starlink signal for the Armed Forces of Ukraine this night. There is a presumption that this decision may have been linked to information received from Russia and its accusations regarding strikes on oil infrastructure. However, there is currently no official confirmation of such a connection.
