How the Navarossians beat up the Novorossians
From the column: Calls from the occupied zone. This made my day. A call from a friend. A loud, joyful shout:
-У нас та-а-а-к-а-я-я драка! (We have such a big fight here!)
-Драка? Ты где? Такое чувство, что ты в ней участвуешь. Крик такой. Уйди оттуда. (A fight? Where are you? It feels like you are taking part in it. That is such a shout. Get away from there.)
-Да я на балконе в окно смотрю. (I am just on the balcony, looking out the window.)
- Сейчас же отойди от окна. У них же драки с «калашами» и РПГ, а вдруг для аргумента танк вызовут. (Move away from the window right now. Their fights involve AK-47s and RPGs, and who knows, they might call in a tank as an argument.)
-Не-е-е-е-е-е, Лен! На эту драку я буду смотреть вечно. У нас наваросы с новороссами подрались. Вот! Новороссы оказались не настоящими. (No-no-no-no-no-no, Len! I will watch this fight forever. Our Navarossians got into a fight with the Novorossians. See! The Novorossians turned out to be fake.)

- Ты ничего в географии не понимаешь. Наваросы, это жители Наваросии или ЛНР, а новороссы, естественно, граждане ….. Новороссийска. А они водку со скидкой брать полезли. А скидка гражданам ЛНР Навароссия (так написано на вывеске) в честь праздника. Ну,наши местные наваросы им и вломили, щоб не лезли. Вот, национальный конфликт (хохот)...... (You do not understand anything about geography. Navarossians are residents of Navarossia or the LNR, while Novorossians are, of course, citizens of ... Novorossiysk. And they tried to buy discounted vodka. The discount was for citizens of the LNR, Navarossia (that is what it says on the sign), to mark the holiday. Well, our local Navarossians beat them up so they would stop meddling. There, a national conflict (laughter)......)

-Кто наши, кого бьют,-не справившись со сложность национально геополитического вопроса уточнила я. (Who are our people, who is being beaten, I clarified, unable to cope with the complexity of the national geopolitical issue.)
