Strike on Bakhmach without sirens: residential buildings damaged, losses exceed 3 million UAH

Attack without warning

Russian occupiers struck the city of Bakhmach without declaring an air raid alert. The attack was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, while the Bakhmach City Council emphasised that the sirens did not sound.

Consequences of the strikes

As a result of the attack, objects of civilian infrastructure, private homesteads and apartment buildings sustained damage. According to the city council, losses from damaged property already exceed 3 million hryvnias. A commission is working at the scene to document the damage inflicted on both business entities and private individuals.

Condition of the victims

Vyacheslav Chaus noted that two impacts were recorded in the city: one in a residential sector and the other on an office building. He added that all services are operating at the site of the destruction.

«Багато руйнувань у місті. Всі служби працюють там. Попередньо, четверо людей звернулися по медичну допомогу» (There is a lot of destruction in the city. All services are working there. Preliminarily, four people sought medical assistance), Vyacheslav Chaus stated.

The Bakhmach City Council clarified that three residents sought outpatient care for acute stress reactions.
