Consequences of the overnight strike on the capital

As a result of the overnight air attack by Russian forces, as well as the outbreak of fires at several civil and critical infrastructure facilities, air quality in Kyiv has significantly deteriorated.

It is reported that residential areas of the Ukrainian capital were shrouded in acrid smoke. The smell of smoke and the presence of fine particulate matter were also observed.
