The Reserve+ app will temporarily limit functionality for submitting mobilisation deferment applications for specific categories of liable persons. This is due to scheduled technical maintenance of the Ministry of Justice's information systems, starting at 22:00 on 23 October. The estimated time for service restoration is the morning of 26 October.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine announced these changes. The ministry explained that technical works in the Ministry of Justice's state information systems would lead to the temporary unavailability of certain services for several days.
Which deferment categories will be unavailable
The restriction applies to processing deferments where the grounds are:
- having children;
- the need to care for relatives;
- status as a member of the family of a defender of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defence emphasised that this situation is a result of technical works in state information systems.
Recommendations for app users
The ministry advises Reserve+ users not to log out of their accounts during the technical works. Logging back into the system will not allow access to the temporarily blocked functions.
Meanwhile, those who have already processed a deferment need not worry about the preservation of their data. All existing records of granted deferments will remain in the electronic military registration document and will not disappear after the technical maintenance is completed.
When deferments can be processed again
According to the preliminary schedule, Reserve+ functions are expected to resume operation on 26 October after 08:00. However, this time is approximate. The Ministry of Defence promised to provide additional information on the actual completion of works and the restoration of access to services.
Thus, the restrictions concern only the ability to submit new applications for specific types of deferments via the app, while already entered data is preserved.
Recall that recently in Ukraine, the circle of persons entitled to a mobilisation deferment was expanded. Now, members of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and employees of its secretariat have received this opportunity. Only those who hold an academic degree and work at the institution full-time as their main place of work will be able to use the deferment.
