Attack on elderly couple in the epicentre of unrest

An incident involving 80-year-old pensioners occurred in the French capital. Unknown criminals attacked the couple, seizing their personal belongings and part of their clothing. As a result of the attack, the elderly people were left practically naked in the middle of the street.

Circumstances of the crime

According to Le Parisien, the incident took place in the evening near the Republic Square. It is in this area that mass protests are ongoing, accompanied by acts of vandalism and other manifestations of public disorder.

The criminals took the victims' mobile phones, wallets, and jewellery. In addition to the valuables, the attackers tore part of the clothing off the 80-year-old couple, leaving them almost naked on the street.
