Yefrosynina on hate over video about Fedyshyn: part of the clip was cut

After publishing a video clip dedicated to the personal loss of singer Iryna Fedyshyn, TV presenter Masha Yefrosynina faced massive criticism online. Netizens accused her of cynicism and the inappropriate presentation of material concerning a celebrity's grief.

The cause of the wave of negativity

Iryna Fedyshyn lost her child at 35 weeks of pregnancy. This tragedy sparked a wave of sympathy but also drew attention to inappropriate comments under her posts. Previously, Marychka Padalka reacted to such statements, and later Yefrosynina also joined in defending the singer, calling on society not to blame the woman for the pain she experienced.

However, the format in which the presenter delivered her statement became the cause of the scandal. In the video, Masha Yefrosynina appeared in a bathrobe, performing her morning beauty routine and holding a comb in her hands. Part of the audience on the Threads platform perceived this presentation as an attempt to draw attention to herself against the backdrop of someone else's grief.

The presenter's explanation and apology

Masha Yefrosynina commented on the situation, admitting that the video indeed looks uncomfortable. She explained that before publication, a clip was edited from which a part was cut, changing the overall context and mood of the statement.
