A drone attack on the vessel Yara J, sailing under the flag of the Comoros, was recorded in Romanian territorial waters. According to the publication Știrile ProTV, a fire broke out on board as a result of the impact. Despite this, no member of the crew was injured.

Circumstances of the incident

At the time of the strike, the vessel was located approximately 10 nautical miles southeast of the Sulina Channel. At that moment, Yara J was waiting for permission to pass through the waterway.

According to information released by the Romanian coast guard, the vessel was not carrying commercial cargo. The final destination of Yara J is not officially disclosed. Currently, no versions are being put forward regarding who the drone that carried out the attack may have belonged to.
