It is worth noting that recently in Ivano-Frankivsk, a nighttime conflict caused by jealousy escalated into an assault involving the use of a starter pistol. According to police data, a 21-year-old man initially used physical force against a woman, and after being reprimanded by passers-by, he struck one of them with the weapon's handle and shot another. The suspect was detained within a few hours, and the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention with the right to post bail.
Also, on 12 October, social media circulated reports of possible shooting and explosions in the centre of Kropyvnytskyi. According to unconfirmed data, a man allegedly armed with an automatic rifle and grenades was present on one of the streets. According to information, at least six explosions allegedly occurred in the area of the incident.
